Course Details

Nicknamed the Matterhorn of the North and made evermore famous by Joe's exquisite images, Roseberry Topping is a revered landmark for landscape photographers throughout the region. With its distinct shape and wonderful photographic vantage points, you can't help but be inspired by this iconic hill.
Another nearby landmark is that of Captain Cooks Monument which affords panoramic views along the curve of the Cleveland Hills, down into Great Ayton and across to Roseberry Topping.
It all adds up to a varied and fascinating day, with plenty of inspiration for your photography.

DAY 1 – Arrive at the gallery in Northallerton for 09:00 start.
After an in house briefing and talk by Joe, participants will be transported to the location for practical photographic tuition by Joe and aided by Mark. We will then head for a well deserved evening meal!

DAY 2 - After an overnight stay in Northallerton, attendees will arrive 09.00 at the Gallery for an initial de-brief with Joe and Mark before loading the previous day’s images onto the IT suite of computers. We will then assess and discuss your images, and how they might be processed to match your original vision. Using Photoshop, Mark will guide attendees through the correct workflow required to produce gallery standard images. Comprehensive Photoshop course notes will also be supplied to take away. The workshop will conclude around 5.30p.m.
