Do you struggle to make a quality print? Have you always wondered what colour profiles are and what to do with them? Do your images always come out dark and lifeless? Do you find Lightroom's Print Module difficult to understand? Then this one-day workshop will answer all those questions and more!
Printing a high-quality, fine-art print from one of your own images has to be the ultimate pleasure and satisfaction for any landscape photographer. However, the dark-art of high-quality printing isn't so easy to achieve without the right knowledge and understanding.
Using Adobe Lightroom Classic's Develop and Print module, Mark will help de-mystify the print process and take you through his personal workflow - including actual prints for you to take home. Learn how to print like a pro and learn how to print 'First time, every time!' - saving you time, ink and paper along the way.
Arriving at Mark's home in the morning, you will be invited to bring along a small number of 'Raw' images ready for editing using Lightroom Classic software on Mark's computer. After discussing and editing your images Mark will then demonstrate how to profile your images ready for final output from a Canon large-format pigment-based inkjet printer.
If travelling to Mark's home is not achievable, you may like to know that it's very easy for Mark to offer tuition and/or help set up your printer remotely. Mark offers a range of different hourly rates to suit you and your needs. Please take a look at the range of options available on Mark's Online tuition page here >>.
For those travelling from further afield, Mark can recommend accommodation near his home. Better still, why not consider spending an extra day or two discovering beautiful North Yorkshire including the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and the Yorkshire Coast?
Mark has public liability insurance for negligence caused by him, which is underwritten by Chubb Insurance Company of Europe Ltd. You are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance in case of illness, accident, cancellation or any other factor outside of Mark's control (Terms and conditions apply - please contact Mark for written details).

Thank you so much for such an inspirational day yesterday and for all your patience! I love my prints, thank you! I felt as though I achieved what I had set out to do and learn the principles of printing and look forward to giving things a go myself.

Hi Mark, Just a note to thank you again for such a wonderful week in so many respects. I so enjoyed the locations and the photography. Lots to process and think about again and some new exciting things to try. Your tuition and attention to detail is much appreciated and I always feel inspired again to get out with my camera. See you before too long in Yorkshire.

"Tell me and I forget.
Teach me and I remember.
Involve me and I learn."
“Mark Banks is quite simply one of the best teachers of photography I have ever met. His secret is an apparently endless supply of patience, and an acute analytical approach to developing systematic problem-solving tactics in photography, which he makes effortless and fun to learn, whether in the field or in the editing suite. Mark’s artistry, empathy, kindness and charm mean he is always a joy to work with, or to be taught by.”
