2012 Photoshop Workshops.

Joe Cornish Galleries Training are pleased to announce a very special range of one-day Photoshop courses for 2012. Joe Cornish & Mark Banks have teamed up to offer a small set of workshops designed to help participants understand how to get the very best from their images. What makes these courses special is that, for the first time, Joe himself will divulge his enormous wealth of experience in post-production techniques as well as explaining his thought process when looking to make any adjustments to an image. Each one-day course is limited to 6 people. Every participant will have use of a computer and will be encouraged to bring along a small selection of their own images to work on (although this isn't compulsory!).

Apple Mac computers are used exclusively at the gallery but the software has a standard layout across the two platforms, PC & Mac with only some very minor differences which will be explained on the day.

We expect demand to be high for these workshops therefore we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Who should attend?

Joe & Mark have worked together many times before and believe these unique workshops will be an invaluable aid to those interested in taking their post-production techniques to a higher level. With guidance from Joe & Mark you will be shown not only the techniques required but more importantly, where to apply them. The course aims to help participants gain the necessary knowledge and
understanding of workflow and Photoshop in order to improve their images to gallery standards.

What not to expect!

Almost all professional landscape photographers try to get the image right in-camera, a point Joe constantly makes on his workshops. However, due to the limitations of camera equipment (and for those that still use it, film) what you may see post-capture isn't necessarily how you remember the original scene with your own eyes. Therefore, for landscape professionals, Photoshop is merely a vehicle to adjust an image back to how they originally remember it. Therefore, this course is not for those that wish to replace one sky with another for example!
