As a professional landscape photographer I'm constantly trying to push the boundaries of creativity and due to my natural instinct to create a logic and order in an image, this project was a pleasing but difficult challenge.

Based on the idea of not being able to see the wood for the trees I have chosen to create a cohesive set of chaotic woodland scenes by processing them in a constant and sympathetic, monochromatic manner.

Like most abstract images, some will like them and others won't but I very much enjoyed the experience - including composing images with only light, shape and texture to work with.
