Lightroom Fine Art Printing
Details
"Excellent photography belongs on paper"
Do you struggle to make a quality print? Have you always wondered what colour profiles are and what to do with them? Do your images always come out dark and lifeless? Do you find Lightroom's Print Module difficult to understand? Then this Lightroom Fine Art Printing session will answer all those questions and more!
Printing a high-quality, fine-art print from one of your own images has to be the ultimate pleasure and satisfaction for any photographer. However, the dark-art of high-quality printing isn't so easy to achieve without the right knowledge and understanding.
First time, every time!
Using Adobe Lightroom Classic's Develop and Print module, Mark will help de-mystify the print process and take you through his personal workflow - including actual prints for you to take home (if you choose to visit Mark). Learn how to print like a pro - 'First time, every time!' - saving you time, ink and paper!
An outline itinerary
If you choose to visit Mark at his home in North Yorkshire, you will be invited to bring along a small number of 'Raw' images ready for editing using Lightroom Classic software on Mark's computer. After discussing and editing your images Mark will then demonstrate how to proof your images ready for final output from a Canon large-format pigment-based inkjet printer using Lightroom's Print module. If you are travelling from further afield, Mark can recommend accommodation near his home. Better still, why not consider spending an extra day or two discovering beautiful North Yorkshire including the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and the Yorkshire Coast?
Online tuition
If you choose online tuition Mark will demonstrate techniques within Lightroom remotely on your own computer and discuss all the aforementioned topics via video-link - it really is like Mark is sat next to you. Cheaper for you and more environmentally friendly!
Printer set-up Service
If you're new to printing and have just purchased a printer (or planning to), Mark can help you to set it up remotely, too. Mark has helped many people to do this and it can avoid many hours of headaches and frustration. Get in touch to ask about your specific requirements.

Please note that any itinerary noted on the workshop description is subject to change due to weather conditions and/or the capability of participants.
By booking a workshop with Mark Banks Photography you are agreeing to accept all of the above conditions.

Hi Mark, Just a note to thank you again for such a wonderful week in so many respects. I so enjoyed the locations and the photography. Lots to process and think about again and some new exciting things to try. Your tuition and attention to detail is much appreciated and I always feel inspired again to get out with my camera. "Tell me and I forget.
Teach me and I remember.
Involve me and I learn."
“Mark Banks is quite simply one of the best teachers of photography I have ever met. His secret is an apparently endless supply of patience, and an acute analytical approach to developing systematic problem-solving tactics in photography, which he makes effortless and fun to learn, whether in the field or in the editing suite. Mark’s artistry, empathy, kindness and charm mean he is always a joy to work with, or to be taught by.”
