Autumn Colours and Waterfalls Landscape Photography Workshop for the Royal Photographic Society

Autumn Colours and Waterfalls
(Royal Photographic Society Members)

2nd November 2019

Mark is a proud member of the Royal Photographic Society and runs practical photography workshops for them around the UK. These workshops are a great way of accelerating your photographic skills along with meeting up with like-minded RPS members with a passion for landscape photography. If you are a member of the RPS these workshops offer great value for money!

Autumn Colours & Waterfalls

Autumn is the most exciting time in a landscape photographer's calendar and the Yorkshire Dales is the perfect backdrop to take pictures in. This workshop date in Wensleydale has been carefully selected for prime autumn colour along with its numerous gushing waterfalls, rivers and streams. It's photography making heaven and Mark will be on hand throughout the day to help you make the most of it.

We will meet at the Aysgarth Falls National Park Centre where Mark will start with an introductory talk. We will then take a short walk to Aysgarth waterfalls (made famous for its scene in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves), where Mark will discuss composition, technique and answer any question participants may have about their camera or their ideas. There will be plenty of opportunities for participants to make images which may include anything from small cameo images to bigger vistas.
After lunch, we will take a short 5-minute drive to the equally spectacular Cauldron Falls at West Burton to hone your photography skills further.

Full joining instructions will be sent prior to this workshop but participants should meet at the Aysgarth Falls National Park Centre (Google maps - at 09.30 am

The visitor centre has a lovely cafe, which offers a good range of food and hot and cold drinks. Warm outdoor clothing, comfortable footwear, umbrella and any medication are all necessary. A pair of wellington boots would be highly recommended. The workshop will aim to finish around 4.30 pm.
