Washi

With a nod to traditional Japanese watercolour paintings, this collection of exposure blended abstract  images have a more restrained, Asian influence and colour palette.

Washi is a traditional Japanese paper and the word comes from wa meaning Japanese and shi meaning paper. The term is used to describe paper that uses local fibre, processed by hand and made in the traditional manner.

These images perfectly match the irregular look and feel of Washi papers to create a truly Japanese influenced print.
